Dear Shugarrr,
I’m sorry this is coming late but it’s a testament to how I feel — being late. I know people who have made it in life, but it seems I’m too late. Every minor decision leads to
something big. It seems that I didn’t make enough of those minor decisions or I made them too late.
What do you do when life seems against you? When you keep trying and trying to no avail?
Some days, I’m hyper-believing in myself to clinch the title. Other days, I’m drowsy, simply going through the motions of breathing.
No matter what, Shugarrr, I simply can’t afford to give up, and that’s why I am writing this.
Don’t give up.
Yours truly,
D.
Dear Shugarr,
It rained yesterday, and I can’t get over the sweetness in the air. The coolness of the breeze is
like a balm to my soul. Shugarrr, I’m a worrier: worried about a thousand and one things that may never come to life. I worry and worry and make myself almost sick to be honest.
Sometimes I take to pinching myself, to wake up this body from the slumber of worry.
Yesterday it rained, today I’m trying not to worry. I’m simply breathing in and out, over and over again.
Yours truly
D
