Content Warnings: Anxiety, self-deprecation, panic, academic stress

Dear stranger,

How are you? I hope you’ve been well. Even if you haven’t been, that’s alright too. I should be okay. I have things going for me. I have a boyfriend who loves me and other things happening for me, but lately, I feel like I’m losing everything. I feel like I’m losing myself. I feel like I’m trapped in a box. I’m screaming out for help, but no one can help me. All I want to do is just sleep and eat. I thought I was ready for all this, but it turns out I wasn’t. I’m in my junior year, going into senior year. I thought I’d have everything figured out by now, but I don’t. I feel as lost as ever. Everything is in my hands and I’m terrified of the future, I’m terrified of what could happen. I’ve built everything up, and now, I’m worried that one stupid move that I make could break everything down.

I don’t want to do anything, I just want all of this hurting to stop. I want to stop feeling so tired and lost. I want it to end. I wonder if I can be better at this point, I think I’ve been tired for a long time now.

  1. There is no timeline for figuring things out. The time runs out the moment you die; no such thing as being late to finding yourself.
